Copyrights and Licensing Policy

Indonesian Tourism Justice Review is committed to protecting authors' rights while promoting the broad dissemination, accessibility, and responsible reuse of scholarly research. The journal applies a transparent copyright and licensing policy to all published content.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright to their original scholarly work published in Indonesian Tourism Justice Review.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly record.

The granting of publication rights does not transfer ownership of copyright from the authors to the journal, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise stated, articles published by Indonesian Tourism Justice Review are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users may:

  • share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes;

provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.

Users must:

  • provide appropriate credit to the author(s);
  • cite the original publication;
  • provide a link to the applicable Creative Commons license;
  • indicate whether changes were made; and
  • not imply that the original author(s) or journal endorse the reuse.

The applicable license does not permit users to impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

3. Attribution Requirements

Any reuse of an article or substantial portion of its content must provide appropriate attribution.

A proper attribution should, where applicable, include:

  • author name(s);
  • article title;
  • journal title;
  • year of publication;
  • volume and issue;
  • page numbers or article
