Publication Frequency

Indonesian Economic Justice Review is published four times a year, in February, May, August, and November. Each issue contains peer-reviewed scholarly works that are selected based on academic quality, originality, relevance, and conformity with the journal’s focus and scope.

In addition to its regular issues, the journal may publish Special Issues addressing emerging, significant, or timely themes within the field of economic justice. Special Issues may be organized around specific topics, interdisciplinary themes, research agendas, conferences, or developments in law, economics, public policy, and related fields that are relevant to the journal’s scope.

Special Issues are subject to the same double-anonymous peer-review standards, editorial policies, and publication ethics requirements as regular issues. The publication of a Special Issue does not alter the journal’s regular publication schedule and is undertaken only when sufficient high-quality manuscripts are available and the proposed theme demonstrates clear scholarly relevance.

Special Issues may be proposed by the Editorial Board, Guest Editors, academic institutions, research networks, or other qualified scholars. Proposals are evaluated by the Editorial Board based on the relevance of the proposed theme, scholarly significance, editorial feasibility, and alignment with the journal’s focus and scope. Guest Editors, where appointed, work under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief and are required to comply with the journal’s editorial and ethical standards.

The journal reserves the right to accept, modify, postpone, or decline Special Issue proposals and to determine the appropriate publication format and schedule. Publication in a Special Issue does not guarantee acceptance, and all submissions must undergo the journal’s standard editorial screening and peer-review process.
