Publication Frequency

The Indonesian Court and Justice Review (ICJR) is published four times a year on a quarterly basis.

The journal's regular publication schedule is:

• February – Issue 1

• May – Issue 2

• August – Issue 3

• November – Issue 4

In addition to its regular issues, ICJR may publish Special Issues dedicated to specific themes, emerging areas of research, significant developments in judicial studies, or topics of particular scholarly and societal relevance. Special Issues may be organized in collaboration with guest editors, academic institutions, research networks, or scholarly organizations.

All manuscripts submitted for consideration in a Special Issue are subject to the journal's standard editorial screening and double-blind peer review process. Publication in a Special Issue does not constitute an exemption from the journal's requirements concerning originality, methodological rigor, academic quality, research integrity, and publication ethics.

Special Issues may be published in addition to the journal's regular quarterly issues and are scheduled at the discretion of the Editorial Board. The publication of a Special Issue does not alter the journal's regular February, May, August, and November publication schedule.

Proposals for Special Issues should identify a clearly defined and academically significant theme, explain its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and provide an overview of the proposed contributions and editorial arrangements. All Special Issue proposals are subject to evaluation and approval by the Editorial Board.

The journal reserves the right to determine the timing, format, thematic scope, and publication arrangements of each Special Issue in accordance with its editorial policies and publication standards.
