Open Access Policy
The Indonesian Minority Justice Review (IMJR) is a fully open access journal committed to the immediate, free, and unrestricted availability of all published scholarly content. The journal supports broad access to research and the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge in accordance with the principles of open science and responsible academic publishing.
1. Immediate and Unrestricted Open Access
All articles published by IMJR are freely and immediately accessible online upon publication. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and otherwise use the published articles in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
No subscription or registration is required to access published articles.
2. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain the copyright to their published articles without restriction. Publication in IMJR does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership to the journal.
Authors grant IMJR the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, reproduce, display, and preserve the article as part of the journal's scholarly publication and digital archive.
Retention of copyright by authors does not limit the journal's right to publish and disseminate the article under the applicable Creative Commons license.
3. Creative Commons License
All articles published by IMJR are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users may:

4. Author Rights
Authors retain full copyright ownership and may reuse, share, distribute, archive, adapt, or otherwise disseminate their published work, subject to the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license and applicable law.
Authors may deposit and share the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, academic profiles, and other appropriate scholarly platforms without requesting additional permission from IMJR.
5. User and Reader Rights
Readers and third parties may reuse published articles under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license. Any permitted reuse must provide appropriate attribution to the author(s), acknowledge the original publication in IMJR, provide a link to the applicable license, and indicate whether changes were made.
The CC BY 4.0 license does not require users to seek additional permission from the journal for uses permitted under the license.
6. Article Processing Charges
IMJR's open access model is independent of subscription fees. Any Article Processing Charge (APC) applicable to authors will be clearly disclosed on the journal website and before manuscript submission.
Payment of an APC, where applicable, does not influence editorial decisions or guarantee acceptance or publication.
7. Charge Policy
All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial and peer review procedures. Publication decisions are based on academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and scholarly contribution.
No author will be guaranteed acceptance or publication on the basis of payment.
8. Long-Term Accessibility and Preservation
IMJR is committed to preserving its published content and maintaining long-term access to scholarly articles. Published articles will be archived through appropriate digital preservation mechanisms to support their continued availability and discoverability.
9. Open Access Commitment
IMJR supports the principle that scholarly research should be openly accessible to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students, and the wider public.
By retaining copyright and publishing articles under the CC BY 4.0 license, authors can maintain ownership of their intellectual work while enabling the widest possible lawful reuse, dissemination, and scholarly impact.
This Open Access Policy applies to all articles published by IMJR unless otherwise explicitly stated on the individual article or publication record.
