To support the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, production, publication, digital preservation, and dissemination of scholarly articles, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 5,000,000 (five million Indonesian Rupiah) per accepted article.

4. Editorial Independence

Payment or the ability to pay the APC does not influence editorial decisions.

Acceptance and rejection decisions are based solely on scholarly considerations, including:

10. APC and Withdrawal

Authors may withdraw a manuscript before acceptance without incurring an APC.

After acceptance, withdrawal requests may be subject to editorial consideration.

If an article has entered production or has already been published, any refund or financial adjustment will be considered according to the circumstances.

An article will not be retracted solely because an author experiences difficulty in paying the APC. However, publication may be delayed until the applicable financial arrangements have been resolved.

11. APC and Retraction

If an article is subsequently retracted because of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, serious ethical violations, or other forms of author misconduct, the APC is generally non-refundable.

Retraction decisions are made independently of financial considerations and are based on publication ethics and research integrity.

12. Transparency of Publication Fees

The APC amount and applicable conditions are publicly available on the IHJR website before manuscript submission.

The journal will clearly communicate:

• the APC amount;
• when the APC becomes payable;
• what services the APC covers;

13. Responsibility for Payment

14. Changes to APC

The journal reserves the right to revise the APC in response to changes in publishing costs and operational requirements.
