Indonesia’s natural environment has been subject to rapid degradation due to deforestation, pollution, and climate change, leading to a growing demand for environmental justice. This paper examines the role of eco-art in raising awareness about environmental issues in Indonesia and in advocating for sustainability and ecological justice. Focusing on eco-artists who integrate environmental concerns into their works, the study analyzes how art communicates the urgency of addressing issues like habitat destruction, air and water pollution, and climate change. By exploring specific eco-art projects, public exhibitions, and collaborations with environmental organizations, this paper demonstrates how art can mobilize public opinion, influence policy, and foster social and environmental justice movements in Indonesia.
